The transformative book, “Healing the Little Girl Within: Integration of Your Inner Child,” by Dr. Nyreia Harrington Wright, DMIN LPC will be exhibited at an upcoming book festival at Printers Row, Chicago. The book event will take place on September 12-13, 2026, along South Dearborn Street between Ida B. Wells Drive and Polk Street. The book exhibit is made possible by the self-publishing and book marketing company ReadersMagnet.
“Healing the Little Girl Within: Integration of Your Inner Child” explores the profound intersection of emotional healing, identity formation, and personal restoration. Rather than presenting a purely clinical manual or a singular autobiographical narrative, the book unfolds as a structured journey through the psychological, spiritual, and developmental influences that shape a woman's inner world. This work provides readers with conceptual insight and guided reflection to foster a deeply personal experience.
At its core, the book functions as an invitation to examine the “inner child”—the younger self whose unmet needs, emotional wounds, and formative experiences continue to influence adult behavior, relationships, and self-perception. Through discussions of attachment, family systems, temperament, sexual development, trauma responses, and inner vows, the work maps the hidden architecture of fragmentation. It guides readers toward self-integration by bridging clinical understanding with spiritual conviction.
